John Flynn is an award-winning filmmaker known for his diverse slate of quality films.

As a director, he is known for his dark, edgy films with complex characters. His films include the gut-wrenching family drama Elegy, the slow burn murder mystery Rain, the riveting and timely crime drama Burn Rate, set to premiere in 2025.

As a producer, he has worked on a variety of award-winning and critically reviewed films such as The Garden Left Behind, Time to Play, Tom in America, Anemone, and Ggu:m.

Since 2014, he has since had films screened at festivals like SXSW, Palm Springs and Cleveland among many others.

John likes to focus on stories of people who are not often seen in media in a positive light or at all. His films focus on building empathy with those we may not know or understand but to also entertain and resonate with audiences world wide.

He currently resides in New York, NY. His hobbies include vinyl collecting, playing survival horror video games, and playing guitar.
