John Flynn is a New York-based filmmaker, producer, and the creative force behind Skye Films. Specializing in character-driven independent cinema and dynamic commercial production, John’s work is defined by its strong visual storytelling and emotional depth.
As a producer, John is known for the critically acclaimed feature The Garden Left Behind, which took home the Audience Award at SXSW. As a director, his portfolio includes the festival-acclaimed short Rain, the recent grant-winning drama Elegy, as well as titles like Burn Rate and Time to Play. Through Skye Films, John continues to develop original narrative projects while partnering with brands to deliver high-quality commercial content.
